Welcome to George Chuvalo's Fight Against Drugs

George Chuvalo was the reigning Canadian Heavyweight Boxing Champion for 21 years.  Today, George speaks to students, parents and other groups about drugs and how they have impacted his life. He lost 3 sons and a wife as a result of substance abuse. His graphic recollection of events and his expressive nature enable him to convey his powerful message. The CAW is sponsoring a 10 city tour by George Chuvalo.  The tour kicked off in Windsor with an event co-sponsored by CAW Locals 200 & 444.  The event was hosted by Forster High School on May 26, 2005.  Approximately six hundred students from grades seven, eight and nine, from Forster, and other public schools in the West Windsor community listened eagerly to the message George Chuvalo delivered.
